Betslip Live is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data and what you can expect when using our sports bet tracking application.

📊Data We Collect

Local Data Only

Betslip Live operates on a local-first architecture. All data is stored directly on your device using iOS UserDefaults:

• Bet slips and betting history - Your tracked bets and their outcomes
• App preferences - Settings and theme preferences
• Onboarding status - Whether you've completed the initial tutorial
• Live Activity preferences - Your choices for background updates

What We DON'T Collect

• No personal identity information - No name, email, phone number, or address
• No account data - No usernames, passwords, or authentication
• No location data - No GPS or location tracking
• No contacts access - We don't access your contacts
• No photos/files access - We don't access your photo library or files
• No microphone/camera access - No audio or video recording

🌐Network Usage

Sports Data APIs

Betslip Live connects to public sports data APIs to fetch game information:

• Ball Don't Lie API - NBA games, scores, and player statistics
• Odds-API.io - Betting odds and player prop data

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we use Apple's Push Notification Service (APNS) to send bet update notifications. This service is anonymous and doesn't reveal any personal information to us.

💾Data Storage & Security

On-Device Storage

All your bet data is stored locally on your iPhone using iOS's secure UserDefaults system:

• Encrypted storage - iOS encrypts app data by default
• No cloud synchronization - We don't sync data to any servers
• No backups to our servers - Only your device's iCloud backup may include app data

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Using the "Reset Demo Data" option in Settings
• Deleting the app (which removes all local data)

👥Third-Party Services

Analytics & Tracking

Betslip Live does NOT use any analytics services. We do not track:

• App usage patterns
• User behavior analytics
• Crash reporting services
• Advertising identifiers
• Marketing analytics

External Links

The app may contain links to external websites (like sports league websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

🎮Simulated Gambling Notice

👶Children's Privacy

Betslip Live is not directed to children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, our app automatically complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

🌍International Users

Betslip Live is designed to work globally. Since we don't collect or transfer any personal data, the app complies with international privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.

📱iOS Permissions

Betslip Live only requests essential iOS permissions:

• Push Notifications - For bet update alerts (optional)
• Live Activities - For background bet progress updates (optional)
• Network Access - To fetch anonymous sports data (required)

All permissions are optional except network access, and you can revoke them at any time in iOS Settings.

🔄Privacy Policy Changes

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Since we don't collect user data or have user accounts, we cannot notify users directly of changes.

Significant changes (if any ever occur) would include:

• Adding any form of data collection (highly unlikely)
